CHECK IT OUT MAN!

Maureen was recently at my house last...well... yesterday, and we had the pleasure of feasting our eyes on one of the greatest parodies of 50's musicals ever produced.
1990's teen flick Cry-Baby starring Johnny Depp and Amy Locane. The movie includes the cheesiest acting, lines, and characters I have ever watched, but in being that way makes the movie the miracle it is. Johnny and Amy also introduced a new side to their artistic selfs by recording their own voices onto the soundtrack. So all those unbelievably catchy tunes you'll be humming for the next few weeks are sung by them. Which is pretty frickin' awesome.

Cry-Baby. Knock your socks off.

Heyllo! I'm back! Well, I didn't go anywhere, but I'm back to the site, so to speak. Anywho..

Does anyone here watch le Tour de France?? I do! Every morning!! Well anyway, after the retirement of Lance Armstrong and the suspending of Juan Ulrich and Ivan Basso, as well as 7 other riders, the winner of the Tour was uncertain, but now it IS certain. And that winner is a certain American by the name of Floyd Landis! Woo! I'm so happy he's winning, and he will win!

Le Tour De France is THE hardest sporting event to win. Next to the tour, the stanley cup is NOTHING. They ride for about 5 hours, climb virtually straight up mountains, sprint to the finish. This alone is practically impossible-but no, that's not enough for these guys, they do this for 3 weeks straight! Crashing on the roads of France, flipping over roadside barriers, falling down mountain sides just to wear a yellow jersey. Broken bones, infected cuts down to the bone, disintegrating hips, dehydration-none of these stop cyclists! They decend mountains at over 70 miles per hour-while they're turning sharp corners! It's CRAZY!!!

So all in all...if you would like to watch some real hardcore athletes, the only thing you need to see is the Tour de France. Some people say cycling is complicated-drafting, time-trialing, climbing-but this race is really quite simple: Ride around France faster than anyone else in the world.

BOO!

HEY! I am back from the all powerful very humid and outlit infested ORLANDO FLORIDA! Yes it was ok. I prefere the States in small doses, one week it too much for someone like myself. Four days in New York and I'm beat. I was there for a very prestigeous dance performance in Disney World itself and did quite well, although the dance wasn't the best part. I am infact
-now- a roller-coaster-junkie. Yes! (holds up up with a certain amount of twisted pride). I've watch my close friends and family mount those seemingly daunting seats and pull thoughs seemingly faulty braces over their bodies and rocket a seemingly 3,723,9183,1273 mph down a seemingly 170 ft drop. ALL LIES! It's the best sensation I have ever felt come over my body, like I'm flying! It's wonderful.
I also went to the beach and got horribly burned. I'm not a water person, although my horoscope says I should be. I like being inside, I'm definatly an inside person, like a...a housefly...
actually thats a tad revolting...I take that back.
So I'm back, with more souvenirs than I can handle, and a whole new wardrobe...well two new shirts and a pair of pants, but that's all I'm going to wear for the next 7 months. And, I went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride! They vamped it up. It's pretty sweet.

SO I'M BACK! And ready to make some more movies...as soon as I get a camera...

Joe. The real Mailman.

Heyllo!
As you may (Zerse) or may not (everyone else) know, I--along with the other three members of CC--have just returned from a fun-filled night at Joe's house! It was tres fun! Me and CCM#3 made up new superheros! And as a large collective group, we ran away from cars and posed as lawn gnomes :)
While we were attending these festivities, we watched 3 movies. 2 were real movies that were produced by famous companies, and one was of our own creation (Bus Stop). Both of the real movies had Johnny Depp in them, and no I do not obess over him, nor do I think he is "dreamy" (though he is attractive, he IS over 40, has kids and is with someone. I do not fantasize over trivial nonsense.). However, I do consider him one of the better actors in existence--past OR present--and hold him in the highest regard.
The movies we watched were Benny and Joon (though we came in about 3/4 of the way through) and Don Juan de Marco (or whatever it is). There were some GREAT lines in these movies. Excellent acting and cinematography (spelling?!?).
Just thought I'd fill you in on such happenings. Also, Joe is going off to Floride (oooo je speakay le francais tres bien!) for like 10 days or something. So he/she shall not be posting for awhile.

Parting with such sweet sorrow,
Shades.
I'm sure you've realized that I have yet to gain access to my regular computer.
hi there Satan

This one is for the legions on fans who are sitting expectantly by there computer waiting for me to post my next pessimistic post. I have one question for you...Which of us four (yes, there are four of us...) do the fans like the best??? I think people might like Maureen because of her happy bubbly attitude, or maybe Shades because of his (her?) actractive pictures... Joe maybe because he is actually a mailman and I have a hunch people like mailmen... I'm going now. Yes it's sad. goodbye

Have a good life Satan.
Hello all!
Ok I promise I won't obsess over pirates 2 but I must donate one post to it! It was indeed amazing! Captain Jack is back with many funny lines and since Shades and Joe have pretty much filled you in about the movie so I'll just give you a little taste:

Elizabeth:There will come a moment where you will be able to choose the right thing.
Jack: I love those moments I like to wave at them as they pass bye.

Jack: Hide the rum.
(it's funny when you see it!)

Jack: (in sing song) I've got a jar of dirt!

note* probably not exact wording

Well, that's it for now,

ta,

Maureen

P.S. Yes I am a Pirate, a few hundred years too late.

CHECK IT OUT MAN!

There was once a movie. That changed out opinon on the theatre and movies altogether. On acting, on actors, and on a wonderful man named Johnny Depp. I am writing to tell you about its sequel.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST

dudes and gentlemen it's awesome! 3 1/2 stars? What a load of bajerbackak! FOUR SOLID STARS OR MORE! Although I do admit the first is the best and will undoubtedly always be the best even after the third, the second is still something to behold. The mysterious and witty Captain Jack is back with more great lines and silly antics and an entrance that definately meets the one from the last movie! Will is still the greatest good guy to ever hit the screen, and Miss Swan gets to kick some wicked pirate butt...finally! And oh ya! Be sure to stay after the credits!

POTC: Dead Man's Chest. Knock your socks off.

Joe. The real Mailman.
Heyllo Fans! (Yay, I can finally put that plural!)
I'm back, and *gasp*, it has only been 2 days since my last post!! That may be a record for me! Maybe not for Joe (who seems to have no life except this...haha just kidding...maybe..) but for me it is!
Anywho! As you've all pointed out, I was out of the country for the viewing of Superman but that doesn't mean you couldn't maybe, oh I don't know, waited a few days! You fail to point out the countless movies I've waited to see because CCM#3 was in Utah! Or Maureen was in Griffith! And there were a few times when Joe was at DANCE! Tsk tsk. Such incriminating evidence against you all, and you have the nerve to say that I am the one out of line? In the words of Captain Hook--Bad form, old mate.
Moving on! To continue on what Maureen was saying, yes, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 came out, and we went to see it (together, along with 12 other people..*gasp* we have that many friends!?!) And I am happy to say, it was not a let down! Well CCM#3 was a bit disapointed, but to the rest of us, it was a great swash-buckling film! Absolutely fantastic! Go and buy a ticket, thou shalt not regret it! I guarantee (spelling?!?) that!
HA! I say we start talking about CC and not about who went to what movie, hmm?
Currently and recently, we have been unable to produce any new films because of the malfunction of Joe's camera! Fortunately, we are working on purchasing a new one. Contrary to that, however, as it is quite expensive to buy a decent camera (which we want), and we are but 8.5th (formerly 8th, soon to be 9th) graders with no jobs, it is taking longer than we hoped. Such misfortune, tsk tsk. But we are otherwise still in action! We have been going through our old movies, which are quite hilarious might I add, and have noticed some places where we need to improve, so fortunately for you our next films will be spectacular! Unfortunately, this all depends on when we can purchase a new recording device.
Is it just me, or were there a lot of fortunes running around the previous paragraph willy nilly?! I think there were! Ah well, such is life!
Now it is time for me to sign off, for I am tired (as the many possible spelling/grammar mistakes show). I have been typing to the brink of exhaustion, and I am off for a very well deserved sleep.
Tootaloo!

Unfortunately, I am still not able to access my normal computer, so you will have to imagine my wonderful picture for yourselves. Tata!

Hello!
Maureen here, I know I have not spoken in quite some time but here I am! I just have to say
SUPERMAN IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! For real, no joke! The film moves fast and has great style, direction and acting. If you have not seen it you must go buy a ticket NOW! Anyways Pirates is coming out in two days which for me is a BIG deal. So, I am very excited and I hope that it won't be a let down.
As to you CCM #3 all I have to say is that how do you know? Super powers could infact be real. You have no right to say that things are impossible. No one has the right to assume that they know the truth. When infact i believe no one knows the truth.
Now to address Shades, you should not feel betrayed or mutinized (word?) you simply were not in the country. Forgeting this we did actually call you but alas, we remembered you infact left us. So no one should feel upset except CCM#3 who has no imagination.
Well that is pretty much it. Also when are we going to start filming? Any movie?

ttfn,

Maureen

P.S. Sometimes I despair the world will never see another man like him

Heyllo! Tis I, Shades. Yes, I know it has been quite a long while, and for that I apologize profusely. It has been so long that I almost forgot what colour font I use! Because, you know, that fact is very *very* important.
As well, I apologize for my recent obsessive comments about X-Men. Yes, as I'm sure you've noticed, I love them quite a bit. But, seeing as the rest of the troope (I added an e. Just for the heck of it) is on my case about it, I shall stop. Except for maybe a few here and there. But none of these shall be quite so elaborate.
It has been brought to my attention that the rest of the troope has gone to see Superman with out me! Quite frankly, I am appalled (spelling?) that they would commit such a crime against me! I mean I know I can be annoying a times, but that's hardly a reason to go see a movie with out me! Tis almost enough to make me not want to see Pirates of the Caribbean, not with you, but with another group of friends! How do you like them apples! Yes, I know it may surprise you that I do, in fact, have other friends! But they are quite real, far from imaginary if that's what you were thinking! I fart in your general direction! (10 points to whoever can guess what movie that's from!)
And so, that brings me to the conclusion of today's message. I hope you all enjoyed it very much! *smiles innocently* And I apologize that I do not have my trademark picture to add, the reason being that I am not on my regular computer. As a matter of fact, I am not even in the same country as the rest of the troope! So, HA!
Happy 4th of July!!!

-Shades

P.S. what is this about a new movie and the T.O. film festivities? Clearly, I am being excluded! Wait...is it that spy one?

Sunday, July 02, 2006

Hello there.

This is again ccm#3. I have no name. isn't that good stuff? That's right. You just heard me type a slightly optamistic phrase and I don't know, maybe it's the summer and the fact that I am not in school but I really don't care that I am not upholding my image of the evil pessimistic one of the group. Yes that is right.

Now enough of this so-called happiness, I have another point to make. I have seen the new movie of Superman as have cc members #1 and #4 (sorry shades) and it was a good movie. BUT before this becomes another X-men crisis (sorry shades) let's let it go. Let's not become obsessed with it and let's just relax. IT WASN'T THAT GOOD! You people are freaks and I think you should focus more on your REAL life than on a super hero movie where there is NO possibility of it being real. SUPER HERO'S DON'T EXIST! NEITHER DO MUTANTS OR ANY OTHER FORM OF ACTION HERO!

And just like that I'm back to being myself.

On a good note, this is information for all of our avid readers which I am sure there are many of, Confidential Codswallop is making a new movie! It is being directed by mostly Joe and myself, and starred by people we don't know yet. We are holding auditions soon. Another interesting thing about this movie is that we aren't just going to keep it on the shelf where it can rot away and be eaten by monkeys, we are planning on entering this particular movie into the Toronto Film Festival.

So when you see our newly fame stricken movie hit the theatres and become the biggest film after Napolean Dynamite, you will be able to say that you (kinda) knew us and then no one will believe you because, let's face it the world is cruel.

Well that was quite an run-on sentance.

Have a good life Satan.
